I was so excited about initiating him into the world of Net banking.
He asked ''If I do that, I wont have to step out of the house?
''Yes, yes''! I said. I told him how even grocery can be delivered at door now and how amazon delivers everything!
His answer left me tongue-tied.
He said ''Since I entered this bank today, I have met four of my friends, I have chatted a while with the staff who know me very well by now.
You know I am alone...this is the company that I need. I like to get ready and come to the bank. I have enough time, it is the physical touch that I crave.
Two years back I got sick, The store owner from whom I buy fruits, came to see me and sat by my bedside and cried.
When your Mom fell down few days back while on her morning walk. Our local grocer saw her and immediately got his car to rush her home as he knows where I live.
Would I have that 'human' touch if everything became online?
Why would I want everything delivered to me and force me to interact with just my computer?
I like to know the person that I'm dealing with and not just the 'seller'. It creates bonds of Relationships.

Her red is poppin![05/14/20] As we start our new normal way of working on 5/15/20, I’m sharing some of our new guidelines/rules, which will impact how many clients we can see in a day/week. We are no longer allowed to double book clients, meaning we will only be able to take half the normal amount of clients we see in a day further impacting our booking times. Please continue to be patient, we are each only 1 person trying to catch up on 10 weeks of clients! Any way possible for you to make your schedule flexible helps us out tremendously...
We will be face to face-so we’ll be going above & beyond the normal to sanitize our space throughout your appointment
Please do not bring kids or additional people to your appointment, we are only allowed 1 person per stylist in salon at a time
Upon arrival we ask you please wait in your car. This will give us time to properly sanitize our space You may send a text to your stylist upon arrival or just wait & we will be out to get you after sanitizing our area
Clients will be asked to wear a mask during their appointment, we will not be providing so please be prepared
For obvious reasons -if you are feeling sick or are exposed to someone with Covid-19, do not come to your appointment! I will be taking temperature checks upon entry & ask everyone to sanitize hands
There will be no coffee service, magazines or lobby waiting

On April 15th we will start booking clients in the order they were on our books when we shut down, so we really appreciate your patience during this time as we try to move our way through this new way of doing things We will do our best to get everyone an appointment as soon as we possibly can!
Also we will not be able to accept any walk in appointments after opening so we ask you please call ahead.

I would love to go back to work but I can't, our industry can't. When you ask us what kind of color you will need and buy that store box color just remember your putting money into the big companies pocket while we small ones are suffering. There is no way to make income from our industry right now since we are hands on. When we can come back, please remember us and please don't blame us if we need to fix your hair and it will cost more. Not only do we miss our income but we miss you. Our chats, laughter, tears, we share so much more than just a haircut. We are standing here united to stay safe but inside we are worried and stressed about our work being completely torn from us. We sit patiently waiting, like you, for answers or reassurance of some sort.
